Responsible for designing, recommending and implementing short- and long-term strategic goals for managing and maintaining SAFE systems and software. Ensure that planned and in-place architectures, practices and strategies align with SAFE’s goals. Conduct in-depth research on new technologies, practices and tools and create and develop plans and documentation to implement research results. Create and monitor the implementation of end-to-end integrated Child Welfare system. Use and implement Devops practices to balance and manage development needs with operational support needs. Monitor and enhance infrastructure development to support current and future needs. Maintain the integrity of the Child Welfare System performance and reliability. Review and make recommendations for enhancing software development processes and procedures. Responsible for the security implementations of the SAFE System. Responsible for recommending standards for technical development. Evolves and adapts the system as new needs arise and new technologies and practices become available and in the best interest of the project. Design with a future of moving to the cloud in mind Move SAFE development forward under existing architectures, with an eye to careful evolution in line with goals and priorities
